T.G.I.F. Everyone! I have some Really Reasonable Ribbon "Friday Fun" for ya today.

I did a little bit of a design re-do with my project. All of the teachers at my school received these cute Mini Kraft Notebooks from our Principal as a Teacher Appreciation Gift. It came with the cutest Mini Kraft Pen too. (smile)

Of course I had to dress it up a bit with some ric rac from the RRR Store.

You can even dress up a pen with ric rac!

I also used some adorable Double Ruffles Ribbon from the RRR Store to dress up the top of my notebook.

I'm on the hunt for more of these mini notebooks because Kraft is so FUN to dress up with ribbon!

P.S. - I'm also playing along with the fun "Clean & Simple" challenge going on over at The Kraft Journal. :)

Have a Safe & Blessed Memorial Day Weekend!

Recycled Project with Creative Charms

Happy Wednesday! I've got a fun recycled project today that is fun and easy to make. It's great for gift giving too! I used one of my favorite Creative Charms product on it too. Have you checked out the Orange Sparkled Flowers yet? They are great to use to add some fun sparkle to any project. Plus they come in a variety of colors.
I also used a Bo Bunny Kitchen Recipe Card Cut Out from their Back to Backs patterned paper.

Here are the steps to make one of your own:

1. Get some tile from your local carpet/tile store.
Most have scraps and will give you pieces for FREE!

2. Adhere your favorite patterned paper to the tile.
Add Mod Podge to the top to seal your paper.

3. Adhere a clip on top of the patterned paper.

4. Add trim or ribbon to the top of your tile.

5. Add a fun recipe card to the clip.

6. Add some fun Creative Charms sparkle flowers.

Creative Charms products can be used in so many ways!

Etsy Inspired #139 - Paula Art

It's time for the next Etsy Inspired Challenge!

(And please remember that Etsy Inspired is now a Bi-Weekly contest. This means that you have 2 WHOLE WEEKS to submit a project. Projects for this challenge are due June 3rd.)

This week's shop is Paula Art . This shop is full of Recycled Pipe Vases, Contemporary Wall Clocks & Mixed Media Originals for your home or office.

I searched high and low for a Humpty Dumpty figure but couldn't find one (sad face). :(

Instead I decided to make a happy card with this cute little monkey. I was inspired by the brown and green colors from this recycled art vase in the shop. The colors match the ones on the monkey that I used. :)

I'm also having fun with CAS designs and am linking up at the Cas-ual Fridays "Bling" challenge. You gotta see the bling on my monkey. :)

The monkey is actually an iron on applique that I found at Michael's. It's always fun to use something fun & different on your projects.

I love the green apple colored ric rac on my card.
You can find it here at Really Reasonable Ribbon.

Here's how you can play along with Etsy Inspired:
♥ Find an item that you like from Paula Art !
♥ Create some cuteness!
♥ Link your creation up to EIC by Friday, June 3rd.

Winner Prize - A Beautiful Votive Candle from Paula Art.

And be sure to check out the Talented EIC Design Team!

I've got a fun layout for you all today. Did you know that Really Reasonable Ribbon has more than just ribbon in the store? Check out a couple of FAB products that I used on my layout today!

See the Red Jute Ribbon and the Butterfly Embellishment? You can add fun elements like this to your pages to add more texture. I added some fun lettering on top of the Jute ribbon!

This layout has one of my FAVE PHOTOS on it. It's a fun page that I did of some friends and I striking a pose - Charlie's Angels Style (smile). I just love the old T.V. show. Farrah Fawcett was my fave. :)  I'm also linking this up at These are a few of my Fave Things!

I used sketch #47 at Sketches in Thyme. I put my title on the left instead of right. And my paper has some flourish like designs already on the paper. I even added some journaling.

Hope you enjoyed my fun page today!
You can find the products that I used here in the RRR Store.

Reminds Me of Spring!

Wednesday, May 18, 2011

I love flowers and cute little birdies.
They always remind me of Spring.

Here's my latest card for the Papercraft Star Challenge.
We've got a super fun sketch for ya.

I made a card that focuses on the photo squares of the sketch. I layered 2 canvas frames (from Little Yellow Bicycle) to add more texture & dimension to the design. I also added circle elements at the top.

Be sure to hop on over to PCS and link up your creation. There's a fab prize up for grabs from The Paper Trail!

I'm also linking up at Easy Craft Projects - Pretty Pastel Colors challenge. :)

Keep Smilin' :)

RRR Ribbon Yummies & Challenge

Sunday, May 15, 2011

It's time for another fun challenge at

It's "Anything Goes" this time around so I made 2 projects for this one. First up is a layout I made of Rachel & her friends on a fun carnival ride.

The pretty "Helen White Chrochet Lace" that I used on the page can be found in the RRR Store.

Crochet lace can also be used on a banner title.

Our sponsor this time around is Inky Antics Rubber Stamps.

The winner will receive a $10 gift certificate to Really Reasonable Ribbon . We will also be drawing a random winner from all the entries to win a $25.00 Gift Certificate from Inky Antics

I am not a stamper by any means so please focus on my yummy cupcake instead! (smile). I got to work with the Baking stamp set.

The seam binding ribbon can be found  here in the RRR Store. It comes in a pretty magenta color.  And if you have some fun cupcake liners & tulle lying around you should whip them out and use them as embellishments like I did.

Enjoy your weekend!

**Congratulations Brenda! She is the "May" blog hop winner. Read more about it on the RRR Blog.

It's time for the fun Really Reasonable Ribbon's Ramblings May Blog Hop!

You should really check out Really Reasonable Ribbon's - May Ribbon of the Month Club package. I love the chocolate brown and pink color combo in this one. This would be a great time to sign up if you aren't already.

Your next stop on the hop is the wonderful Crystal's blog.
